Anchor Collar (attaches to the bottom pole)

To install a beach umbrella system:
-
Prepare the beach surface. The surface should be firm and flat with a little moisture in it.
-
Place the base flat on the sand.
-
Insert the Sand Gopher through the hole of the base and grind into the sand. Remove and fling the plug of sand out of the Sand Gopher. Repeat until the hole in the sand is 11" deep.
-
Insert the beach umbrella pole into the newly created hole.
-
Fill the base COMPLETELY to prevent it from blowing away on windy days. Connect two wings to form a sand pocket and fill the base with your sand shovel. then pack down the sand with your foot.
-
Connect the third wing and completely fill and pack the sand into the base. The sides of the base should be firm and taut.
-
To prevent the poles from sticking together, make sure to keep sand from getting into the connection between the upper and lower portions.
To take down a beach umbrella system:
When removing the base from the hook bolts, wiggle the bottom pole to loosen the sand and enlarge the hole while gently pulling the pole towards you. This will relieve the tension of the sides allowing the grommet to be unhooked.
The serial number for your umbrella is engraved on your pole. This is important for your 3-year Protection Plan and 10-year frame warranty.
See Instructional Video for a setup demonstration.
beachBUB® Ultra Base
To set up your beachBUB® Ultra Base for the best beach umbrella performance:
-
Using your foot, hand, or an appropriate tool, brush away 2-3 inches of dry top sand.
-
Use the Sand Gopher tool to dig a hole for the umbrella pole.
-
Fill the sand base completely. When it is full enough, you should be able to bounce a nickel off the surface.
When you're taking down the beach umbrella anchor:
-
Wiggle the pole around to release the grommets, but be careful not to bend the bottom pole.
-
After taking the umbrella down, store the hitch pin in the hole at the top of the lower pole. Then, store it in the included beach bag.

(2) Trays

Hex Wrench
-
Carry Bag
-
Yellow Umbrella Collar
-
White Table Leg Collar

(3) Collar Spacer Sets
-
Table Leg (protective orange cap)
The beachBUB® Tray Table System features two trays designed to be used separately or locked together to form a table. They are made to work on any umbrella with a pole diameter of 1" to 1 1/2". Recommended height is about 18" above the sand.
To set up:
-
The two trays lock together by using the tabs on the side to interlock. Line them up together at a slight angle then snap together.
-
The collar attaches easily to your umbrella pole. Use the included hex wrench to mount the collar on the pole at the desired height.
-
Clip the tray onto the collar.
Many configurations are possible. Use the trays together or apart. As many as four trays can be clipped onto a single collar.
IMPORTANT!
When removing the tray from the collar:
-
Place your hands at the same end of the tray where it is attached to the collar.
-
Place your thumbs on the collar and pull straight up to remove.
-
To remove the tray, lift upward while rotating the tray. If you lift from the unsupported end of the tray, you may damage the claw clip.
You also can enjoy your beachBUB® Tray Table System without the umbrella pole by attaching it to a table leg.
To use it with a table:
-
Use the included hex wrench to mount the second collar to the top of your table leg.
-
Insert the table leg into the sand up to the red mark.
The table leg setup is perfect for keeping your belongings out of the sand while still being able to reach them easily. Lay out a towel or set up a beach tent and chair while still keeping your drinks or other belongings sand-free.
beachBUB® SunVisor
To attach the beachBUB® SunVisor on a sunny day:
-
Clip the carabiners on with the orange side facing toward the middle of the umbrella and the opening of the clip facing outward.
-
Rest the visor on your shoulder. Choose the panel that will give you the sun protection and attach an orange carabiner to one rib ring. Clip the second orange carabiner to the other rib ring.
-
Release the middle blue strap. The two side wings will drop down.
-
Attach the left wing with the bare carabiner and then attach the right wing. Now all four carabiners are attached.
-
Release the two red straps. The SunVisor will drop.
To remove the SunVisor (while at the beach):
-
Fold up the SunVisor by tying the left and right RED straps. Do not tie the middle blue strap yet.
-
Detach the left and right wings and let them drop down.
-
Lift both wings to the middle and secure by tying the BLUE strap.
-

beachBUB® Sand Gopher
The beachBUB® Sand Gopher is designed to make creating the perfect hole for your beach umbrella quick and easy. It ensures a precise 11" deep hole to keep your umbrella firmly anchored in the sand even in windy conditions. This is key for safety at the beach.
Here's how to use it:

Insert the Sand Gopher into the hole in the beachBUB® Ultra Base sand anchor.
-
Twist and grind the tool into the sand.
-
Remove the Sand Gopher and fling the sand plug out.
-
Repeat the process until the hole is 11" deep.

This creates a strong and stable foundation for a secure umbrella that stays put when you open the canopy.
See Instructional Video for a setup demonstration.
