SETUP + HOW TO

beachBUB® All-In-One

Your new beachBUB® all-in-one has been built to last a lifetime. Proper setup and takedown is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.

What's in the box:

  • Upper frame and canopy
  • Bottom pole
  • beachBUB® Ultra Base
  • Oversized Carry Bag
  • Anchor collar (attaches to the bottom pole)
  • Sand Scoop Shovel
  • Sand Gopher tool
  • Towel Hook collar

  1. Prepare the beach surface. The surface should be firm and flat with a little moisture in it.
  2. Place the base. Place the base flat on the sand.
  3. Make a hole. Insert the sand gopher through the hole of the base and grind into the sand. Remove and fling the plug of sand out of the gopher. Repeat until the hole is 11" deep.
  4. Insert bottom pole. Insert the bottom pole in the hole.
  5. Fill base COMPLETELY. Connect 2 wings to form a pouch and fill the base to the top. Connect the third wing and completely fill and pack the sand into the base. The sides of the base should be firm and taut.
  6. Take down. When removing the base from the hook bolts, wiggle the bottom pole to loosen the sand and enlarge the hole while gently pulling the pole towards you. This will relieve the tension of the sides allowing the grommet to be unhooked.

The serial number for your umbrella is engraved on your pole. This is important for your 3-year Protection Plan and 10-year frame warranty.

beachBUB® Ultra Base

Use your foot to brush away the top 2 or 3 inches of dry powdery sand prior to setup

Use the Sand Gopher to quickly and easily make a hole for the umbrella pole

Fill the base all the way up until you can bounce a nickle off the sides

Keep sand out of the connection point between the upper and lower poles to avoid the poles getting stuck together

When you're taking down the umbrella system, wiggle the pole around to release the grommets, but be careful not to bend the bottom pole

beachBUB® Tray Table

Items included:

  • (2) trays
  • Hex Wrench
  • Carry bag
  • Yellow umbrella collar
  • White table leg collar
  • (3) collar spacer sets
  • Table leg (protective orange cap)

The trays are designed to be used separately or they can be locked together to form a table. They are made to work on any umbrella with a pole diameter of 1" to 1 1/2". Recommended height is about 18" above the sand.

The two trays lock together by using the tabs on the side to interlock. Line them up together at a slight angle then snap together.

The collar attaches easily to your umbrella pole

Use the included Allen Wrench to mount the collar on the pole at the desired height. Then simply clip the tray onto the collar.

Many configurations are possible. Use the trays together or apart. As many as four trays can be clipped onto a single collar.

IMPORTANT!

When removing the tray from the collar, be sure to place your hands at the same end of the tray where it is attached to the collar. Place your thumbs on the collar and pull straight up to remove.

To remove the tray, life upward while rotating the tray. If you lift from the unsupported end of the tray you may damage the claw clip.

The collar also attaches easily to the included independent leg table

Use the included Allen Wrench Hex Key to mount the second collar to the top of your table leg. Insert the table leg into the sand up to the red mark. Now you can enjoy your beachBUB® Tray Table by itself even without the umbrella pole.

The table leg setup is perfect for keeping your belongings out of the sand while still being able to reach them easily. Lay out a towel or set up a beach chair while still keeping your drinks or other belongings sand free.
