The beachBUB (Beach Umbrella Base, Umbrella not included) is the safest and easiest anchoring device on the market for your beach umbrella. The beachBUB ULTRA BIG is designed specifically for umbrellas larger than 8 feet in diameter.  Most popular uses are resort and commercial applications but can be used by every day beach goers who own larger umbrellas. It is our sturdiest, most robust beachBUB base holding 170 lbs. of sand. Like the original and Ultra, it only takes minutes to set up and has been wind tested to 42 MPH with an 11 1/2' commerical umbrella. The base includes a universal beachBUB Clamshell Anchor Collar which makes it compatible with all brands of beach umbrella, even those with a pre-attached screw on the bottom pole.No hole to dig or twist screw device used. Just fill it with sand and enjoy a stress free day at the beach. Packs up to the size of a paperback book. Fits umbrella poles up to 1 1/2" diameter. Universal ClaimShell Collar, hook-bolts, and one-time dual-sided tool included.

The beachBUB ULTRA BIG is recommended for holding umbrellas with canopies from 8 1/2 feet  to 11 1/2 feet in diameter.

    Best of What's Around ... ;o)

Posted by Uli on Mar 29th 2018

3 weeks on a windy beach, without problems. Easy and quick to install, the beachBub holds the parasol absolutely securely. Have a parasol with a three-piece pole. The lower part is slightly shorter than a two-piece pole, so the measuring strip is too long. Have a screw anchor used, so you do not have to stick the pole 20cm in the sand. This then makes the anchor. For my 2m diameter parasol the smaller version would have been sufficient, The big one is slightly oversized but it works perfect and who knows how big the next umbrella will be. Perfect part for the beach. Highly recommended.

You do not have to worry about your umbrella blowing away and maybe hurting someone, just set it up and enjoy the beach

A Portable Umbrella Base for the Beach!

Posted by Sam Cooper on Jul 6th 2015

We have several large Patio Umbrellas that provide cooling shade on our deck. A neighbor told us about the beachbub and that it would work for our Patio Umbrella on the beach. I told him that I thought he crazy so I made a bet with him. If it worked I would buy him the whole setup. I ordered the base and took my 10 foot Patio Umbrella and the base to the beach. The instructions were very easy and it took about 3 minutes to setup. I am amazed. This beachbub works just like a cement patio base but because it is pinned by the pole going through the center hole it works better than the heaviest cement base. The company advertises that it weighs 170lbs when filled and believe me I could not budge it. I am back today on the site buying the complete set for my neighbor. Bitter Sweet :-)

    Looking for a larger umbrella

Posted by Barbara Petty on Jun 19th 2015

I have owned the regular beachbub and umbrella for over 6 months and we love it. I'm going to buy the beachbub bigger size and I'm trying to find a larger umbrella. The company says that they are going to offer one next year. If anyone has a suggestion on where I can find one my email is barb4358@aol.com

Best product for holding a large umbrella

Posted by Chuck Stevens on Jun 18th 2015

The beachbub is a great product to keep your umbrella in place. It works just like a patio umbrella base but it's portable. I really like how easy it is to use and when it's filled it's extremely heavy. Very simple and effective.

First device I've ever used that worked

Posted by Gregory Smith on May 11th 2015

I have tried and devised just about every darn contraption to hold a beach umbrella and none of them have worked very well. Our family likes shade, and a lot of it. I have a 9 or 10 foot umbrella that we have used for a couple of years. I bought the beach bub big one and I must say I have finally found the solution. It works just like the biggest and heaviest cement patio base but it's portable. This is just a no brainer. Even my grandchildren pitch in to fill it. Great Idea. I recommend this to anyone who has struggled with a beach umbrella.

    Umbrella company suggested this product

Posted by Mary Joe on May 5th 2015

I bought a high end Frankfort Beach Umbrella a month ago and have struggled getting it to stay in place on the beach. I'm afraid that if it blows down the beach it might hurt someone. The manufacturer recommended the beachbub larger size. I bought one 2 weeks ago and it is a wonderful product. It took us about 3 minutes to fill it up. I don't know how much it weighs but I could not budge it. We went to the beach last weekend and the wind was really blowing. I saw at least 3 umbrellas flying down the beach but not ours. :-)

    My husband was so impressed

Posted by Gloria Matthers on Apr 24th 2015

My husband and I are a traditional couple. We have been married for 46 years. When it comes to fixing things my husband has always been in charge. He decided to buy a very large umbrella, I think that it is 10 feet so that our family, including our new grandchild could sit under the same umbrella. He came up with this system to hold our umbrella years ago which included using a hammer and some straps. Last month the umbrella blew over and broke. The manufacturer fixed it and suggested that we try the beachbub base. I went on the website and bought the base for larger umbrellas. I gave it to my husband for his birthday. I don't think he thought it would work. I guess because I bought it he discounted it. I would probably think the same thing if he bought me a cake mix. Anyway, during our next beach trip he humored me and used it. Well, I must say his whole attitude changed. Not only did it work but it was so easy to setup. He no longer uses his straps and hammer. I am so proud that I found this and that he loves it.
